MINOR IN MILITARY
SCIENCE
Military Science may be used as a minor course of study in
many degree programs at The University of Texas at Arlington.
To be eligible, the student must:
a. Be enrolled in the ROTC program,
b. Receive acceptance of military science as a minor from
his/her major degree department,
c. Successfully complete with a grade of B or better four of the
following: MILS 3341, MILS 3342, MILS 4341, MILS 4342, or MILS
4391,
d. Successfully complete 6 additional military science hours
with a grade of B or better of any level (MILS 0180 can be
repeated to meet this requirement.).
e. Successfully complete the Army’s Leader Development and
Assessment Course offered annually in the Summer, and,
f. Meet all Army prerequisites to earn a commission as an Army
officer upon graduation.
